Mandela: His 8 Lessons in Leadership – Mildred Lynn McDonald

July 17, 2008 by mildredlynn

A a little while ago, I read an excellent article in TIME magazine about Nelson Mandela called Mandela: His 8 Lessons in Leadership by Richard Stengel. I’m now forwarding it to friends, family, and colleagues in Canada and the USA.

Why? It struck a chord. By nudging me out of the day-to-day box, I was encouraged to dream a little bigger; by talking about perspective and magnanimity, I revisited the importance of tactics and pragmatism; and finally, by sharing insights on courage and humility, I started to reflect on the basic things in life, like being a good human being. Here’s a handy resource, check hereto go to a website that has collected about 30 Neslon Mandela quotations.

Look forward to hearing from you … enjoy the day!
